Annyeong!

So I decided to create another blog. I've been inspired by Kdrama blogs that I clicked clicked clicked and clicked and so I made a new blog right away. This blog will contain sightings and random stuffs that will pop out of my head concerning Kdrama's, T-drama's or even Owl City. As you all know I fan girl a lot.

I started my journey with a local band called Orange and Lemons. During that Era (I make it sound as if it happened around the 18th century, haha well technically there's a parallelism since this band is already well, dis-banded.) YAHOO groups were really popular and so I spent my free time at the internet in "YG's." I specifically took notice of the frontman, Mcoy Fundales and lead his group. I eventually got his mobile number and soon flooded him with repetitive text messages that went "HI! I love you so much" and left 50 missed calls at one sitting. So I think he hated me after that.

Fan account: Orange and Lemons, Mcoy Fundales
FanBase Name: ONL listers, Mcoy Babies
Population: 300 for ONL, 100 for Mcoy
Friendship: Had at least 15 friends whom I texted everyday, 2 close friends during the era and 1 remaining close friend at present.
Closeness to object of interest: Was able to call and text him at least 5 times.

Then we have the Jonas Brothers. The birth of the forum! I thoroughly searched the Web for a forum wherein I could get all the latest information about this trio singing sensation. Then I found JonasPh, a place for Filipino fans to spazz about THE JB. HEAVEN. And so I found my new home. Everyday, I rushed off to my desk, throw off my bags and rapidly turn on the computer... I was posting stuff 'til dawn. My favorite Jonas was Joe. I wanted to Marry him at that time. Good thing I held back. HAHAHA. I also met a lot of people here, for the first time in my life, I met up with people whom I only knew through the web, turns out that they were actually nice and well english speaking (cause our forum medium of communication was really english) so yeah.

Fan Account: Jonas Brothers
Fanbase Name: JBnoys
Population: 800
Friendship: 15-20 active friends in the forum. 5 close friends during the era. At least 3 friends as of the moment and 2 close friends as of the moment.
Closeness to object of interest: As far as the earth is to pluto.

Then came the local news. KAYE ABAD AND GUJI LORENZANA a.k.a. KAYJI (when together) I didn't know how it happened but I actually turned on my television set and stumbled upon channel 2 (The local tv channel of the Philippines). I noticed a pair of lovebird who were actually making good chemistry. I googled their names and found my way to a new Local forum. TA-DA! Guess who's logged in for almost 12 hours a day! I met up with fellow fans and organized 3 Get Togethers up to date and was able to attend a couple of tapings, shows and live productions. It was fun. I was able to watch them live at a noontime show where in tickets were complimentary. So Yeah. And did I mention Guji Lorenzana was also a textmate of mine? I was the first person to contact him in behalf of the group and so I became his official contact as part of the KayJies :) I AM SO COOL haha.

Fan Account: KAYJI
Fanbase Name: Kayjies
Population: 260+
Friendship: Had at least 20 friends at the era. 5 close friends. 5 close friends accross the borders of my country.
Closeness with object of interest: Text Guji (where in sometimes, messages that extend to 2 parts)

Then came GuiGui and Aaron Yan. Okay so this isn't as extreme as Kaye and Guji but I also had to log in to asianfanatics (TW forum) to talk and spazz to every fan. I'm telling you it's hard to juggle a forum that talks half chinese, half english haha my english is also a half breed of chinese since i sometimes end up typing in wrong grammar. OH well. What's cute about loving these Taiwanese actors is that I actually have a back-up support since my Uncle and Auntie are both TW citizens (residing in the Philippines) so chances are we can go to Taiwan anytime they feel like it and yes, I can tag along. So after GuiGui and Aaron so came Jerella (Jerry and Ella). JERRY YAN is back and this time for good. I used to like him in Meteor Garden but he is seriously off the hook now. He's as hot as a sizzling steak ready to be served. (Sorry, I think I went overboard) So Yeah. Been to asianfanatics and Pinoy Exchange forJerella so it's actually a combination of both. And I'm having fun.

and oh, did I mention I started writing fanfictions for the two loveteams? YES. 3 to be exact.

Oops, How could I forget this fanbase! Hay, OWL CITY PHILIPPINES. My brainchild. My hardwork and labor, sweat and tears haha. I founded OCPH last March 2, 2010 in an ipbfree forum that was already terminated. Reason? In time for Owl City's concert last March 14, 2010. And so my journey with this man named, Adam Young began. Me and my bff bought 2 VIP tickets to his concert on a school day, in our uniforms (YES, I am stressing out that I'm a student!) and we went off happily. The D-DAY came and we went to Adam Young's hotel. Yeap, as fan girls. So what actually happened was this:

The Hotel was 24 floors high and we had no idea what room he was in so ka ching! Let's go up the 24 floors! From the 24th floor to the 18th floor, we were already pooped out and stopped for awhile.. then I heard voices (no not the mystical type of voice) voices of people talking in English. What are the chances? Well, first it's a hotel so foreigners come and go and second I couldn't be that lucky, right? THAT'S WHERE I'M WRONG. Sometimes fate does things subtly, and I hate it. 'Cause I was right, it was the 18th floor, ROOM 1801 to be exact. And we only confirmed that when we went down the elevator (and gave up) and Breanne and Daniel (Adam's bandmates) eneterd the cabin and started mentioning things about the concert. I almost killed myself that day (of course that's a hyperbole). Hay. SO much about Owl City.

Fan Account: Owl City PH
FanBase Name: Hootowls
Friendship: 1 sibling type friend, at least 5 pseudo close friends
Population: Proud to say that OCPH has almost 3,000 members
Closeness to the Object of interest: continents away. :(

Then my latest is the Hoi Hoi couple. I have been watching KDrama's since 2004 and it is no doubt that their drama's have always been a hit. What I like most about Kdrama's is that they actually consider the idea of writing a story. Not just some series that will run for how many episodes and leave the viewers all dizzy from the long zigzaggy ride. Recently, because of KAYJI, JERELLA and the like, I left out Korean drama's. But then came My girlfriend is a Gumiho. Click click click and WA-LA! I just made a fanpage. 600 fans in two weeks? Wow.. I am impressed, Grace. A forum up and running? Wow, Grace you've done it again. Hayyy so far this hoihoi is one of the most stressful fan group that I've been to. First I log in to an Intl Korean forum, then I go to various fansites, then I look for korean videos then find the subbed ones, then post in my fanpage then go to Pinoyexchange and back to step 1. It's really complicated but you know what? I'm actually having fun. Oh haii. The Joys of being a fan girl.

Fan Account: My Girlfriend is a Gumiho/ Hoi Hoi
Fanbase Name: Hoi Hoi lovers
Population: 600 members and counting
Friendship: Lots of Thai, Indo and Malay friends. 1 close PH chinggu.
Closeness to object of Interest: 1 plane ride away. One day we will meet.

SOOOOO YEAP. That's just a re-cap of my fan accounts. I am pretty sure that one day I will encounter, join or even found more. 'Til then, Adios!!
